AURORA: What drew you to filmmaking?
SHARMEEN OBAID-CHINOY: I became a print journalist when I was 14. I think my first published piece appeared in Dawn; by the time I was 17 I was writing cover stories and investigative pieces for Dawn’s Tuesday Review.
